First video of tumor microparticle release ever! I took this a long time ago – but it was this that re-awakened my microparticle interests that I had during my PhD. We now know that MP release happens during cancer cell extravasation, mostly when the cells are intravascular and attempting to undergo transendothelial migration. Its now the basis for over half of the lab’s research interests. Keep your eye out on our publications on how this process occurs in the microcirculation!
