Multiphoton imaging is a tad easier in CAMs versus in mice, no adipocytes, no hair, no skin to cut through etc. I’ve injected lectin-FITC into the CAM and here we are imaging immediately above a tumor. The CAM capillary bed is the first layer, but deeper down, we can see some vessels – belonging to the tumor deep in the stroma. Thanks Steven Kerfoot!
